Custom online store

Your own online store, with no fees per sale.

Catalog, cart, payments and shipping under your brand and your domain. Sell what can be bought in one click and quote what is made to order, on the same site.

Short answer

A custom online store is your own sales site, with your domain and your design, where customers choose, pay and arrange delivery without a platform taking a percentage of every sale. At MyLeads we build it as part of the Enterprise plan, with a cart, payments (for example, Mercado Pago) and shipping; the price is quoted based on the catalog and integrations.

  • It makes sense when your catalog has special requirements (sizes, quotes, wholesale) or when you want a site that is entirely yours.
  • If you sell lots of standard products and want to start right away, a platform like Tiendanube may be more practical.
  • The Montecarlo Baterías case combines both: standard items are bought through the cart and made-to-order items are quoted.

The whole purchase, from product page to payment, easy on a phone.

The Montecarlo Baterías case: store and quote builder on the same site

Montecarlo Baterías is a company with more than 50 years in business, part of Grupo Rivero Hnos. since 1976, with its own warehouses in Tortuguitas, Bosques and Villa de Mayo (Buenos Aires province). It sells starter batteries, deep-cycle batteries for forklifts, chargers and tires, and also offers technical service, vehicle paperwork and insurance. The challenge was to fit all of that into one website without customers getting lost. The rule that organizes the site is written on the site itself: what is sold online is bought through the cart; what is made to order is quoted.

  • Store by category: starter batteries, deep-cycle batteries, chargers and tires, with the brands they carry.
  • Search by size or by vehicle: customers search by size or describe their vehicle model and are told which one fits.
  • Terms in plain sight: 12-month warranty, free inspection and 7-day delivery, with warehouse pickup or shipping.
  • Shipping nationwide: dispatched by freight carrier to the branch or address the customer chooses.
  • Separate quotes: a quote request for made-to-order products, reconditioning and services, plus a section to get quotes on insurance and traffic fines.

We also built the store for Noir, a clothing brand: minimalist look, catalog by category, clean product pages and a frictionless checkout. Both are in our projects.

Tiendanube, Shopify or a custom store: which is right for you?

All three work, and none is best for everyone. The difference is how you pay, how much it can be adapted and who owns the site:

Common mistakes when opening an online store

These are the ones we see most in stores we are asked to review, whether on a platform or custom-built:

  1. Product pages without details. A photo and a price are not enough: sizes, compatibility, materials or what is in the box are missing, and the customer ends up asking on WhatsApp.
  2. Shipping costs revealed at the end. The customer fills the cart, sees the shipping cost at the last step and leaves. Shipping terms need to be visible from the product page.
  3. Outdated stock. Selling something you do not have leads to complaints. You need to decide where stock data comes from and who updates it.
  4. Everything through the cart, even when it does not fit. Made-to-order products, wholesale or services are not sold in one click; that is what quotes are for.
  5. Supplier photos. The same images ten other stores use. Your own photo, even one taken with a phone, sets you apart.
  6. No FAQs. Returns, warranty, delivery times and payment methods need to be written down, for customers and for Google.

How much does an online store cost?

It depends on three things: how many products and variants the catalog has, which payment and shipping methods you need, and whether anything else needs integrating (stock, invoicing, CRM, quotes). That is why at MyLeads the online store is part of the Enterprise plan, which has custom pricing: we send you the quote along with the visual proposal, which is free. Beyond development, plan for the costs that do not depend on us: the domain and hosting every year, and the payment gateway fee on every charge. For the full picture, see how much a website costs in Argentina and how much it costs to maintain it.

Payments and shipping: what to decide before you start

TopicCommon optionsWhat to decide
Online paymentGateways like Mercado Pago (cards, account balance and other methods).Which gateway you use, whether you offer installments and who absorbs the fee.
Bank transfer or cashOrder confirmed online, payment made outside the website. How payment is confirmed and how long stock is held.
ShippingPostal service, freight carrier or your own delivery by area.Areas, delivery times and whether the cost is calculated on the site or arranged afterwards.
PickupAt the store or the warehouse.Addresses, hours and a "ready for pickup" notice.
WholesaleA separate price list or orders by quote.Whether wholesale prices are shown or sent on request.

Each gateway sets its own fees, and they change: we help you choose, but the contract is yours.

What the store includes in the Enterprise plan

On top of everything in the Full plan (up to 10 pages and a blog, Google Business, analytics and Meta pixel, forms to WhatsApp or a CRM), the Enterprise plan adds what a store needs:

  • An online store with cart and payments.
  • Integrations with your CRM and in-house systems, for example so every order or quote is logged in your CRM.
  • Automations and an AI website assistant that hands off to WhatsApp, to answer questions about stock, shipping and payment methods at any time.
  • Unlimited pages and languages.
  • Monthly maintenance and priority support.

If you are not ready for a store yet, a website with a catalog and ordering through WhatsApp can be the first step: it is covered by the Starter and Full plans, and when you need the store, it is built on top of what is already there.
