Short answer
A website in Argentina can cost almost nothing (a template you build yourself and pay for monthly) or several thousand dollars (a corporate site with integrations). At MyLeads, custom design costs ARS 100,000 to ARS 300,000 for a landing page, ARS 450,000 - ARS 600,000 for a site of up to 5 pages and ARS 750,000 - ARS 950,000 for up to 10 pages, as a one-time payment.
- What moves the price the most: number of pages, copy and photos, features (store, bookings, integrations) and who builds it.
- After launch you pay for the domain and hosting every year. Maintenance is optional, depending on who builds your site.
- To compare quotes, always ask for the total cost over two years, not just the upfront price.
How much does a website cost, in ranges?
There is no single price, because "a website" can be one screen with a WhatsApp button or a full system with a store, inventory and invoicing. That is why it helps to split by type of site. The table brings together two references: the market ranges published by GoDaddy for Argentina (in US dollars, prices updated in November 2025) and our own prices, published on website prices.
| Type of site | What it usually includes | Market reference (GoDaddy, USD) | MyLeads (one-time payment, ARS) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Landing page | A single page for a product, promotion or service, with WhatsApp and a form | 150 to 250 | ARS 100,000 - ARS 300,000 (Landing plan) |
| Basic company website | Home, services, about us, gallery, map and contact | 150 to 400 | ARS 450,000 - ARS 600,000 (Starter plan, up to 5 pages) |
| Lead-generation website | Up to 10 pages, blog, Google Business, analytics, forms to a CRM, two languages | 1,500 to 5,000 (professional corporate website) | ARS 750,000 - ARS 950,000 (Full plan) |
| Online store | Catalog, cart, payments and shipping | 150 to 600, noting it usually ends up costing more | Custom pricing (Enterprise plan) |
| Custom development | System integrations, bookings, quote builders, private areas | From 5,000, and it can exceed 20,000 | Custom pricing (Enterprise plan) |
Market ranges are a guide and move with inflation, the exchange rate and who does the work. Our prices are the ones published on /planes on Oct 14, 2026; the final figure depends on the sections and features and is confirmed with the visual proposal.
Two notes to read the table correctly. First, the lowest market range almost always means an adapted template, not a design made for your business. Second, the upfront price is not the total cost. A cheap website you pay for monthly, or have to rebuild after a year, can end up costing more than a custom one.
What makes a website more or less expensive?
When two quotes look very different, the gap almost always comes down to one of these points:
- Number of pages and sections. A 6-section landing page is not the same as a site with one page per service, branch or product.
- Custom design or template. A template already has the structure in place; only colors and text change. A custom design starts from your brand and from what you want visitors to do.
- Copy. If you write it yourself, the cost goes down; if the web team writes it, it goes up, but the copy is usually better planned for Google and for AI assistants.
- Photos and video. Using your own is free. A professional shoot or stock material is extra.
- Features. A store with payments, online bookings, quote builders, calculators, client areas or a CRM integration are what move the number the most.
- Languages. Each extra language means translating and maintaining all the content.
- SEO and GEO. Titles, descriptions, structured data and a search-friendly structure take hours. Some providers include it; others charge extra.
- Who builds it. A freelancer, a small studio and a large agency have different costs and response times.
A concrete example of how one feature changes a project: the website for MultiBOMBAS, a water pump store in Guaymallén (Mendoza), has a calculator that suggests which pump each customer needs and puts the order together on WhatsApp. That calculator is extra design and development that no template includes.
How much does it cost to keep a website running each year?
Once it is live, a website has fixed costs. There are only a few, but you should know them before choosing:
| Item | What it is | Cost (reference) |
|---|---|---|
| .com.ar domain | Your website address (yourbusiness.com.ar). It is registered with NIC Argentina using your tax ID login (Clave Fiscal) and renewed every year. | Set by NIC Argentina and updated from time to time. In January 2024, registration and yearly renewal were set at ARS 8,500 (iProfesional). Check the current fee at nic.ar. |
| .com domain | The international option, bought from private registrars. | GoDaddy lists promotional prices for the first year; renewal costs more. Paid in US dollars. |
| Hosting | The server where your website lives. | In the GoDaddy reference, cPanel hosting starts at USD 5.99 per month. A light static site can run on the free plans of services like Netlify or Cloudflare Pages, depending on traffic. |
| Email on your domain | Inboxes like sales@yourbusiness.com.ar. | Optional. Paid per user per month (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 or others). |
| Maintenance | Changes to copy, prices and photos, technical updates and backups. | Depends on the provider: a monthly fee, a fee per change, or nothing if the site needs no technical updates. |
A detail that matters: on a WordPress site with plugins, technical maintenance is not optional, because plugins get updated and, if nobody looks after them, security holes appear. On a static site, like the ones we build at MyLeads, there are no plugins to update: maintenance comes down to the content changes you want to make. The month-by-month breakdown is in how much it costs to maintain a website.
Wix, Tiendanube or a custom website: which one is right for you?
All three work, for different situations. What changes is how you pay and who owns the site.
| Wix (site builder) | Tiendanube (store platform) | Custom website | |
|---|---|---|---|
| How you pay | A monthly or yearly plan, in US dollars, to use your own domain and remove ads. | A monthly or yearly plan (25% off yearly) plus a transaction fee of 0.7% to 2% depending on the plan, waived if you get paid through Pago Nube (Tiendanube help center). | You pay for design and development. After that, domain and hosting. |
| Who builds it | You, with templates. | You, with templates and apps. | A designer or an agency, around your brand. |
| Best part | Getting started fast and cheap. | Selling online with payments, shipping and inventory already solved. | Your own design, speed, SEO and custom features. |
| What to keep in mind | If you stop paying, the site goes offline. You cannot take the design to another provider. | You pay every month for as long as you sell. The design depends on the template. | Choose carefully who builds it and make sure everything is in your name. |
| Choose it if | You need something simple right now and have time to build it. | Your business is selling lots of products online. | You want to stand out, show up on Google and in AI answers, or you need your own features. |
The fair way to compare them is the total cost over two years: what you pay upfront plus what you pay every month, plus the time it takes you to build and maintain it. For a store with a large catalog, Tiendanube is usually the most practical choice. For a service business, a restaurant or a manufacturer, a custom website usually performs better and, with no mandatory subscription, you pay for it once. We compare each case in detail in Wix or a custom website and Tiendanube or your own store (in Spanish), and if you want to sell online, see how we build a custom online store.
Freelancer, agency or do it yourself: which is right for you?
- Doing it yourself with a site builder costs the least money and the most time. It works for testing an idea.
- A freelancer usually charges less than an agency. Ask for examples of their work, a written deadline, and for the domain and logins to be in your name.
- An agency charges more because it adds design, copywriting, SEO, analytics and support. Check what each plan includes and what happens after launch.
The hidden costs nobody tells you about
These are the ones we see most often when a business asks us to rebuild its website:
- The domain in someone else's name. If whoever built your site registered the domain in their own name, switching providers gets complicated. Ask for it to be registered with your own tax ID.
- Renewals that cost more than the first year. Domains and hosting with promotional prices that later multiply.
- Paid plugins and themes. On WordPress, some are billed yearly in US dollars.
- Changes billed separately. Every price or photo update comes at an extra cost.
- Photos and copy that were not included. The quote assumed you already had them.
- No access. A website only its builder can edit.
- Rebuilding it because it is slow or outdated. A website that is slow on mobile loses visitors and Google shows it less. If that is your case, see how we handle a website redesign without losing your Google rankings.
How much does a small business website cost, case by case?
To turn the table into concrete examples, these are the situations we are asked about most and the plan that usually fits each one:
| Your situation | What you need | Plan that usually fits |
|---|---|---|
| You run a small venture and sell on Instagram | One place with everything: what you sell, prices or catalog, how to buy, and WhatsApp | Starter |
| You are launching a service or a promotion with ads | A page that turns campaign traffic into inquiries | Landing |
| You are a service company that wants inquiries every day | One page per service, blog, Google Business, analytics and forms to your CRM | Full |
| You manufacture or distribute and quote per order | Catalog, quote builder and clear terms of sale | Starter or Full, and Enterprise if there is a custom quote builder |
| You sell online with a cart and payments | Store, payment methods and shipping | Enterprise, or a platform like Tiendanube |
| You already have a website but it is outdated or slow | A redesign that keeps what already ranks on Google | Depends on the size of the current site |
Worth knowing: starting small does not lock you in. At MyLeads, if you start with a landing page and later need more pages, we add what is missing and credit what you already paid for the sections we reuse. That is why many small businesses start with the minimum that works today and grow once the website is already bringing in inquiries.
How to request quotes you can actually compare
Send the same brief to every provider, so the numbers can be put side by side:
- What your business does and what you want visitors to do (message you, book, buy, request a quote).
- How many pages or sections you have in mind and whether you have copy, photos and a logo.
- Features you need: WhatsApp, form, map, catalog, bookings, store, languages.
- Whether you want to show up on Google and ChatGPT from day one.
- Ask about: timeline, rounds of changes included, support after launch, yearly costs, and whose name everything is in.
If you want to see the whole process, in how we work we walk through every stage, from the first call to the live website.
