Tourism and lodging

A website for cabins, hotels and country houses with direct bookings.

Let visitors see what the place is really like, know what's included and what it costs, and book without going through a platform that keeps a cut.

Short answer

A website for a guesthouse or a tourist destination has to show the place as it is, answer what everyone asks (price, what's included, how to get there, what to bring) and take direct bookings without a platform's commission. At MyLeads we design it from scratch; bookings that save themselves to Google Calendar and a spreadsheet, as at Lo de Elvira, come with the Enterprise plan.

  • Your own photos and videos: they sell a place better than anything else.
  • FAQs and directions, so you don't have to answer the same thing a hundred times.
  • Direct booking by form or WhatsApp, and a bilingual site if you get foreign tourists (Full plan).

The Lo de Elvira case: bookings that land in the calendar on their own

Lo de Elvira is a family-run country house in Marcos Paz, an hour from Buenos Aires City: 12 hectares with a farm, a wood-fired grill and somewhere to stay the night. It opens on weekends and public holidays from 11 am to 6 pm, and only with a prior booking. The website we designed answers what used to be answered one message at a time:

  • A Sunday in the countryside, hour by hour: from the gate at 11 to the grill, the animals, the afternoon nap and the sunset, told with the owners' own videos.
  • The grill menu with prices and the date they were published, so nobody arrives with doubts.
  • Directions by car and without a car, with the roads, plus the train and bus from the city.
  • More plans: events in the countryside, overnight stays and school visits, each with its own section.
  • Automatic bookings: the visitor fills in their name, WhatsApp, date, adults, children and package. The site confirms on screen, creates the event in Google Calendar and adds a row to a Google Sheets spreadsheet. The owner sees everything in order, without copying anything by hand.

It's the kind of feature that comes with the Enterprise plan: online bookings or appointments and integrations.

Direct bookings or platforms: which is better?

Booking platforms bring visibility, but they charge a commission on every booking and the relationship with the guest stays in their hands. Your own website won't replace that overnight: it adds a channel where the booking is direct, the contact stays with you and you can offer what the platform doesn't show (day plans, events, experiences).

Booking platformYour own website
CostCommission per booking.One-time payment for the design, plus domain and hosting.
VisibilityHigh within the platform.Depends on Google, AI assistants and your social media: it takes work.

Our advice: use the platform if it works for you, but make sure anyone who finds you on Instagram or Google has somewhere to book directly.

What visitors ask most (and your website should answer)

Almost every guesthouse and destination gets the same questions. Each one the website answers is one less message to reply to:

QuestionWhere to answer it
How much is it?A packages or rates section, with a last-updated date.
What's included?A clear list per package: meals, activities, bed linen, parking.
Can I bring pets or kids?FAQs with the rules (for example, dogs on a leash).
What should I bring?A practical list, like the one at Lo de Elvira: tablecloth, cooler, sunscreen.
How do I get there without a car?Directions by public transport, with lines and stations.
What if it rains?Your change or cancellation policy, explained simply.

Seasons, rates and languages

  • Seasons: the website can show which days you open in each season (for example, winter holidays) and highlight special dates.
  • Rates: if they change often, a "from" price with a last-updated date is better than an old price.
  • Foreign tourists: the Full plan includes the site in two languages. Mate y Fogón, the grill we built in Salta, was designed so tourists find it before they arrive.

How people find you: Google, maps and AI

Travelers ask things like "country house with animals near Buenos Aires" or "cabins with a pool in Córdoba". To show up on Google, on Maps and in assistants like ChatGPT, your website has to say it in those words, with the area, the distance and what you offer, and your details have to match your Google profile. We handle that in GEO and SEO optimization.

FAQ

Common questions from places to stay.

01

How do I avoid double bookings?

If all your direct bookings go into the same calendar, as at Lo de Elvira, you can see each date's occupancy before confirming. If you also sell through platforms, those calendars need to be synced or managed with a channel manager: we look at it with you based on how many units you have.
02

Does it work for foreign tourists?

Yes. The Full plan includes the site in two languages, and we set it up so you're found on Google and in AI assistants when people search your area.
03

Can I take a deposit online?

A payment method can be added as part of an Enterprise project. To start, many places confirm the booking and ask for the deposit by bank transfer.
04

Do bookings reach my phone?

Yes. They can come to you by WhatsApp or email, and be saved in Google Calendar and a spreadsheet, depending on how we set it up.
05

Can I use the videos from my Instagram?

Yes, and we recommend it: your own footage shows the place best. At Lo de Elvira the site was built with real videos from the farm.
06

How much does a website for a place to stay cost?

Starter ARS 450,000 - ARS 600,000, Full ARS 750,000 - ARS 950,000 and, with automatic bookings, Enterprise with custom pricing. One-time payment in pesos.
